Great replacement for new gas cartridges. Turns them into an old style jar with a vent. Easy to install, just drill a 1/2 inch hole and insert the vent hole. Supplied with plugs for coarse and fine threads.

This spout is not worth buying, it lasted about two full tanks. The problem is that the base of the spout is so thin where it meets the glass that you can wrap tissue paper around it and double the thickness. It doesn't harden after a few uses. For a nickel more plastic, they could solve that problem, but it won't. The only good thing about the spout, it flows very well, I liked it.

Unfortunately it didn't help me. The seal at the outlet is very thin and made of material that is not resistant to petrol. After about 3-4 gallons of 92 octane gas, the gasket started to leak. Tightening the lid crushed it completely and permanently deformed what should be pliable. I would also suggest buying a larger spout for 5 gallon cans. This one works perfectly with 1 or 2.5 gallons, it's too slow to pour 5 gallons and it gurgles.

Very good product! Supplied with two screw caps that will fit probably all gas cartridges. I finally have a good flowing gas cylinder and no longer have to deal with the "push, push, hold while slowly choking" choke on bottle, that's a thing of the past now. The 5 gallon can is upside down and stable as the gas slowly gurgles out of these newfangled gas nozzles, spilling more gas than I've ever poured out of regular spouts!

Nozzle works well. The problem is the screw section that connects the nozzle to the can. The thread is slightly torn off, so a reliable seal is not possible. Worse, it causes the collar to "pop" off the threads when you try to tighten it, resulting in bits of black plastic peeling off. Not happy with that. It dispenses less than my old inner-straw jet, but still dispenses gas, which defeats the purpose I bought it for. The search continues.

I am a landscape gardener and was looking forward to this product after buying new gas cartridges. Unfortunately this product would be great if it wasn't for the trash can they use. The rubber seal doesn't fit and comes off every time I open the gas bottle to use it. I end up spending a minute or two putting it back on each time. The rubber doesn't seem to last long. I've been using it for about two weeks now and I'm disappointed they used such a crappy rubber seal. I would happily pay a little

I had an old new gas cartridge. The old one needed help so I replaced everything. Now it's a pleasure to use! Bought new out of desperation. There is no vent and the jar would not close with a spout. I hated it and it pours SLOWLY. Both problems are solved! Now I can use it. I upgraded both cans with a 2' long, 3/4" clear hose. Now I can see what I'm pouring without kneeling or leaning 90 degrees. And if I want, I can leave the hose on and the canisters still seal!This is necessary when dealing

Does NOT include a gasket or O-ring to seal the nozzle/gas cylinder nut. Without a seal, the gas will just splatter on the floor when you try to use it. This of course makes it an EXTREMELY unsafe product. There is definitely a need for such a product, but due to the lack of a way to seal the gas cylinder nozzle, the design and workmanship makes the product potentially dangerous if not deadly. Simple and safe - the way fuel spouts used to be before idiots started making fires without using old spouts in a safe way! With common sense, this spout can be just as safe as it was before all "safety" spouts were required. Spouts that caused spills every time I tried to use them! Easy to use and no spills!
