Beautiful pen with smooth and reliable ink flow

Let me first say that I love this pen. I have a problem with that, but I'll get to that later. The pen writes a thick, smooth line and I haven't had a problem with too much ink seeping onto the page after just dipping it in the ink. A dip in ink lasts much longer than metal-tipped pens, and it's easier to tell when a pen is running out of ink. It writes thicker and wider than I'm used to, and because I write small, narrow letters I have a few legibility issues, but I'll get used to it over time. The pen is nice, but what makes it the way it is causes a problem I have with it, a problem many people wouldn't have. I find it difficult to hold a pen and often feel severe pain in my hand after writing more than a line or two. Using fountain pens and dip pens whenever possible helps alleviate this problem. The handle has curls that go from where you hold it to the tip. This causes the pen to constantly shift in my hand, forcing me to hold it tighter, causing me the pain I experience when using a ballpoint or thin-bodied pen. I'm trying to find a way to counteract this, but haven't found it yet. Can I recommend this pen despite this problem? Absolutely. The weight is right and the grip seems to be properly balanced. It writes very well and is very easy to clean afterwards. If you are interested in trying the glass pen, the price is low enough to test the waters and try it yourself.
