Review on Standard Motor Products EGV596 Valve by Yung Kaelin

This part was bad after unpacking. I installed it and heard a loud hiss coming from it. My engine ran worse than ever. I rode it for a while and my mechanic checked it out. He discovered he had a massive vacuum leak. My mechanic thinks the diaphragm has ruptured. The problem is that it took me a few weeks to install this part and now that I know it's bad it's too late to return it. $55 is in the trash right now and I need to buy one from my local parts store for $85. Waste of time and money. Do not buy this item if you cannot install and test it immediately.
