Review on 🔌 D-Link 5 Port Unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet Switch - Plug & Play Compact Design, White (GO-SW-5G) by Brandon Daughenbaugh

I had to move my modem to my home office because I was at my new job worked from home. All my computers used to work without a wireless connection at speeds from 300 Mbps to 700 Mbps. The modem only has one 1Gb port so I ordered it because I figured all three could get 500-800Mbps with this switch and I could stop switching cables every day after I got the left work. That didn't happen. I hooked up this switch and tried all three computers and none of them exceeded 80Mbps. I have all brand new 1000Mbps CAT6 cables and when I connect my modem to any of the three computers I get at least 700Mbps. I am very disappointed in this product. I feel like I was completely misled when I said it can transmit 1Gbps, no port on any of my three computers pushes more than 80Mbps. I don't know if mine is bad , but I will not ask for a replacement, just my money back and the lesson I learned from this brand.
