Great monitor, great colors and brightness, decent gaming!

In my (not so) days of using monitors, it's hard to say that I've come across a screen that not only offers such high contrast, color accuracy, and detail, but also high brightness to boot (with my phone). According to the light meter, the monitor is 70% brighter than my laptop screen at 300 nits. Be sure to try it). Most monitors in this price range compromise at least one of these points. And the best part is that it's also very good for casual gaming! Input lag and ghosting aren't as bad as you'd expect from a non-gaming monitor, and compare very favorably even to my laptop's 1ms 120Hz display. And there is also a stand; feels perfect and is fully adjustable with minimal effort. Sturdy rubber feet keep the display securely in place, and one-handed adjustment is certainly possible. It's worth noting that the display runs in sRGB mode out of the box, meaning you won't be able to control most aspects of the display out of the box. You must switch to Rec.709 mode to access all features. The biggest strength I see to get the most out of this monitor is the performance. It's an absolute performance monster, the screen is big and beautiful, and designers and developers will surely appreciate the extra real estate. Of course, it could certainly get even better with 4K, but then again, it would be almost out of that price range, right? Overall, I give this monitor the highest recommendation. At this price point it definitely gets more than the competition but for the combination of material quality and display performance that you would expect from the ASUS ProART brand I would say this is the most reliable value for money in their entire range and you are Definitely worth it. Think about choosing it for yourself!
