In many ways this is the older brother of Fuji's latest FX27mm. It is unpretentious, light, does not stand out (strongly), but visually it is not bad. There have been a few reviews that will tell you the lens isn't perfect, but I certainly haven't seen anything in the resulting images to object to. All the functional parts feel good: autofocus is fast enough, adds little to the weight and bulk of my GFX50R, aperture ring stays where you set it, smart little hoods that do their job and it claims that it's weatherproof, but I haven't tried it in the rain yet. Although it's "only" f3.5, with a thin depth of field I had no problem separating the subject from the background. If it's a new ti MF (I'm upgrading my X-series gear) you need to be careful when you need more depth of field as it's a bit more difficult to achieve than with smaller formats. Weight: When combined with the GFX59R, it weighs about the same as my X-H1 with the fx16-55 f2.8 attached. Manageable but maybe not my pick for strenuous hikes! (Pulling one of the 100MP zoom bodies should feel like a bowling ball. I'm glad I went with this minimal configuration.)
