I am new to quilting and use a sewing machine and I love how this book goes back to basics, from putting the needle in the machine. There are small patchwork projects that each teach you something important about quilting, such as: B. making a Christmas stocking or chessboard doilies. I truly believe I can get more out of a printed book than a Kindle, and the Kindle book didn't come with a DVD like the printed version. But I'm excited for everything I'm about to learn, and Quilting 101 makes it sound (relatively) easy.
