That's easy for a 70-year-old male novice.

I've never sewn a single stitch before this book and now I'm going to sew a blanket. This book combines years of sewing experience into easy-to-understand visual and easy-to-understand written instructions. I find the quilting process almost meditative as I move along the learning curve. Put life's difficulties aside for a while and devote some time to making patchwork quilts.

Templates don't fit or are full in Kindle Edition

Excellent book with good starting projects. The problem is that the templates that come with it don't match the size in the Kindle version and there is no description of the size it should be. So you have to go to incredible lengths to print out the template and then try to resize it. At the moment I'm working on holiday coasters. Patterns in the Kindle version don't have numbers in them, so I don't know how I'm going to do this project. Apparently no one thought of making a Kindle edition of…

Back to quilting basics

I am new to quilting and use a sewing machine and I love how this book goes back to basics, from putting the needle in the machine. There are small patchwork projects that each teach you something important about quilting, such as: B. making a Christmas stocking or chessboard doilies. I truly believe I can get more out of a printed book than a Kindle, and the Kindle book didn't come with a DVD like the printed version. But I'm excited for everything I'm about to learn, and Quilting 101 makes it
