When I first received this and gave it to a granddaughter, I noticed that the tip was dry. I tried a few things before realizing that it's like drawing pens: you have to press (or wave) the tip of the marker on something several times to refill it. Incidentally, this is also in the instructions, which I, as a man, did not want to read. Soon my granddaughter was painting the glass patio doors, herself, the kitchen table (wooden) and a few other "things". against which her mother (my daughter) protested. I have to admit I think I had as much fun as my granddaughter. It's nice to be a kid again. When the "damage" was finally done, I was REALLY JOYFUL (and relieved) that literally everything we put our "artwork" on was very easy to clean with a damp cloth (no residue or residue) . I didn't let them mark the walls and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone ;) What a cheap investment in priceless fun!
