They were made to be STRONG and if they built them to the listed specs that would be awesome. Unfortunately the width (recommended 3-1/2 inches, actually more like 3-5/8 inches). My betting pockets on my Big Tex trailer are just over 3-1/2" (3-9/16"), so I assumed this would work based on the 3-1/2" claims I really wanted them because they are clearly more heavily built than any others I've seen. The 1-1/2" depth rating was accurate. agree with many reviews - they need to use a longer pin. It didn't bother me because the pins were under my peg pockets (nor through their thickness), but I do have trouble getting the spring pin into many 1/2 inch pin holes - very few holes actually for safety spring pins. These pins should be at least 1/2 inch longer. My betting bags aren't perfectly square and there are some size differences in both - so I was able to find bags that would fit the larger ones. How they come and in what orientation, but then again I really want them to work because they're so robust. Just make sure your tolerances aren't too close to the 3-1/2" x 1-1/2" on the stake pockets or they may not fit.
