Review on Monroe 171572L Quick Strut Complete Assembly by Chris Prix

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Over 3 years and still a smooth ride

I was fed up with the 'Quick Strut' quality versus the more expensive OEM Spectrum strut assembly but due to budget and time constraints I went with it . Now, after more than 3 years, they have held their positions very well. The handling is still wonderful, soft when needed, yet sporty, like in constant motion. It's interesting to feel how different they are from the factory original. The only thing that worries me is that after a few months, when the pin reached its mid-shrinkage point, it started to get lower in front compared to the original pins. Where I used to be able to park over small concrete traffic jams in a parking lot, my front bumper now drags over them. That's no reason not to buy though, as the driving characteristics are still amazing and tough. I recommend without a doubt they will more than meet your needs. I wouldn't look anywhere else.
