Over 3 years and still a smooth ride

I was fed up with the 'Quick Strut' quality versus the more expensive OEM Spectrum strut assembly but due to budget and time constraints I went with it . Now, after more than 3 years, they have held their positions very well. The handling is still wonderful, soft when needed, yet sporty, like in constant motion. It's interesting to feel how different they are from the factory original. The only thing that worries me is that after a few months, when the pin reached its mid-shrinkage point, it…

Exact Fit 04 Grand Caravan

This is an exact replacement for our 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan. After the replacement, the normal drove 215,000 km, the mileage is close to the factory performance. Although the originals didn't look worn (no bouncy front end), the squeaking seemed to indicate the bottom plate was worn, but a replacement was long overdue. After watching a few videos on how easy these are to replace, I started replacing them myself. If you don't live in the Rust Belt, this might be easy. I found the front…

Disappointed with these shelves

Disappointed with these shelves. I installed them on my caravan and they only lasted 3 years and 30,000 miles. They're supposedly covered by a lifetime warranty, but the only way to get them replaced is to bring them back to the company that installed them, or contact your online store. I installed them myself and when I contacted Revain about this they said they don't do warranty stuff like that. The Monroe hotline wouldn't even let me past the auto message no matter how hard I tried, so it…

The second time I used this

. I first bought them for a battered Mazda Protege that just needed to get off the road. I remembered how easy they were to install so I figured they were the right choice for my 150k T&C that had bad bumpers and bushings. Installation was pretty easy. As others have pointed out, the hardest and slowest part of the process was connecting to the stabilizer. Make sure you have a complete assortment of metric wrenches! Aligning the three bolts into the posts was tricky and definitely required a…
