Review on Monroe 171572L Quick Strut Complete Assembly by Bryan Covington

Disappointed with these shelves. I installed them on my caravan and they only lasted 3 years and 30,000 miles. They're supposedly covered by a lifetime warranty, but the only way to get them replaced is to bring them back to the company that installed them, or contact your online store. I installed them myself and when I contacted Revain about this they said they don't do warranty stuff like that. The Monroe hotline wouldn't even let me past the auto message no matter how hard I tried, so it was a major standoff. I gave up and bought another set. When the knuckles arrived, one of them had a damaged spring seat rubber seal and the other had a defective knuckle insert which, once installed, made a rattling noise whenever I hit a bump. Luckily I assembled them myself and didn't have to carry them to the store. Revain sent me a replacement but I had to install it twice. Glad I found out they were faulty before paying for the aligner (I found out they were faulty on the first test drive after installation). I cannot recommend these.
