I once owned a Target Room Essentials fan and was looking for what looked like a replacement after it broke. this little fan from Comfort Zone has caught on. Personally I would rate it a 1. Comfort Zone 2. Holmes Fan 3. Genesis Fan The Genesis fan had the strongest airflow for those looking for it, but it seemed to me that it was a strong wind current blowing in my face. The Genesis and Holmes fans are louder than the Comfort Zone fan. While the Genesis fan has the most modern, stylish look, the Holmes fan has a rather odd, fragmented base clip and coiled spring cord. Again, I prefer the simplicity of the comfort zone, cord, and switch. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would recommend the Comfort Zone to anyone looking for a basic, quiet fan for their office or bedroom.
