Worn out in minutes

Bought a saw to deal with roots that were beginning to damage the driveway. Bought blades to help me cut. I used the largest blade and two roots, and after 10 minutes the blade's teeth were completely worn out, which was a big surprise to me. So I went to Home Depot, found another 9" blade from another manufacturer, but this one had smaller but larger teeth (3 TPI). Cut through a 5" diameter root in seconds and get the job done. The blades were a big disappointment.
