Pretty good at power tools and hand tools

Good blades. I tried to buy a few non-brand ones but they didn't fit my saw. It's a bit more effort than I'd like, but they still do the trick.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great Blades - Saber Saw Blades

I threw one of these saw blades in my DCS367 to cut some metal studs for a furniture restoration project and it cut like butter. I bought a pack thinking I'd need two or three to complete the project, but I'm still on my first blade and it's showing very little wear.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great sentence! for power tools and hand tools

Worked great. Although the yellow color is easily washed off. I haven't used all of the blades yet, but I've tested both metal and wooden blades with no issues. Actually cuts pretty clean! I'm notorious for using a saber saw for "precision work" because it's so easy and fun to use. I highly recommend them! I have no complaints and I love the work.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

For quick demolition

You could get a more descriptive name! I call them "demo" blades because they cut through wood and the nails don't slow them down much. Cheaper blades will stop and burn when hitting frame nails, but not this one. I've used them extensively in renovating my old farmhouse, and they've gobbled up everything from ship plaster with heavy nails to three coats of old tile. Nothing lasts forever, but the durability of these blades makes them a better value compared to cheaper alternatives that don't…

Dulls quickly but strong blade

Even cutting metal is great. but if you have to traverse a tree it won't be smooth or fast. Used to remove pallets. The newer or better built ones (where there is no clearance to squeeze a blade in) were very slow. After two pallets the blade is clearly dulled. The old, wavy palettes were a no-brainer! You definitely need this length for pallets. The blade is very strong and never gave any desire to break or warp.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Worn out in minutes

Bought a saw to deal with roots that were beginning to damage the driveway. Bought blades to help me cut. I used the largest blade and two roots, and after 10 minutes the blade's teeth were completely worn out, which was a big surprise to me. So I went to Home Depot, found another 9" blade from another manufacturer, but this one had smaller but larger teeth (3 TPI). Cut through a 5" diameter root in seconds and get the job done. The blades were a big disappointment.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

great blades great case reasonable price

I have used Dewalt blades before and they have been as reliable as Milwalkee, Makita or Diablo brands. Moral of the story, cutting wears the blades. So I broke one of my hacksaws while cutting a pipe and decided to reorder. It looked like a great combination of blade lengths and sizes which I enjoy using. At around $2.32 per blade I found it a great deal. What I really really like is the sheath, as you can see you can easily carry all of these blades long and short or just short. Top of the…

Ideal for butchering deer

I bought these knives specifically for butchering deer with my Milwaukee M18 Hackzall. The 9" blade length is perfect for slicing through the thickest of bones without being bulky. It's probably 10 times faster than a sharp hand meat saw and not as tiring. 10 teeth per inch cuts quickly without clogging. I used a blade on a large deer and when I finished the blade was just as sharp as it was when I started. The blade is lacquered. Of course, I didn't want the color to ruin the meat, so I…

cool blade! - Power & Hand Tools

I had to cut down a maple stump underground to rot. This blade cut well through this very hard wood, allowing me to remove the pieces until I had cut enough to cover the surrounding ground. No more mower blades hitting that stump; and don't pay for the stump grinding process. I was very happy with his work, except that he bent a little somewhere halfway. However, only one blade got the job done and it was still sharp afterwards. I can still use a blade for other "pruning" jobs around the…
