Review on πŸ§ͺ High-Quality 60 Tube 16X150Mm Plastic Scientific Set by Mike Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pretty good, stand is ok, great for store storage

I use them as organizers for my circular saws. They arrive as others describe: in a bag. Some have scuffs on the surface of the tube, but I don't care. If you want really clear and tough tubes, buy borosilicate glass tubes. These tubes are very transparent (at first I thought they might be polycarbonate). All caps close well and burst when pulled off. They don't all fit well and require some twisting and effort to remove. Be careful if you have liquid inside. Also note that the tubes have a slight taper inside and out. I have an extra tube and a few extra caps in my bag. As for the stand, it's either a different design than some of those who have complained or there's something wrong with the reviewer. My stand is the same as in the main photo. If you can't fold and connect the stand in less than 30 seconds, you're wondering if you can shop online unaided. The stand is also surprisingly stable. I expected to have to glue or modify it, but I'm very happy with it. In addition, the stand is supplied with column and row labels. 1-12 right to left and AE front to back (see my photo). Makes labeling or indexing very convenient, especially if you place colored caps along each row (not as shown in the main photo, see mine). The labels on the tubes are Dymo mailing labels cut in half and the chart on the front is a printed and cut chart to fit on the flat side of the rack. I can place odd columns on one side and even columns on the other side as I fill them.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
