Excellent automatic downpipe extender
I had an extended hard plastic version that got in the way so thought it might be worth a try. The item was easy to install with the included swivel and holes for the perimeter of the spout and the support metal I attached it to. It opens fully when the rain has passed 3 times I tested. As described, it raises automatically but needs to be rolled up manually if you want it to roll between rains. So far it seems great for the price and appears to be durable.
