I tested this roll to cover a very dated 80's giant mirror in my living room. It's really easy to install by yourself if you follow the installation instructions. The product bounces light off the mirror, but the mirror itself is completely blacked out (which is what we wanted). A few tips: 1) Use plenty of water/soap solution. This is the only way you can manipulate the product. 2) This product is made of plastic, so it didn't work as smoothly with my Exact-O knife as it would with wallpaper. So it seemed easiest to me to pre-cut the product to the exact size/shape. I'll use a utility knife and ruler after it's in place next time I need to cut part of the product. 3) Make sure you have a good scraper suitable for inside corners.
