Installing one of these for the first time. It wasn't very difficult, but with large windows I would recommend a second person. I'm not sure if my door glass has more sealing around the edges than I expected given its age, or if this paper has stretched a bit from wetting and squeezing it several times. Artscape Rice Paper Window Screen - Great Product! I received it quickly with Prime shipping. I placed some books on the unrolled film (with backing!) to smooth it out for easier handling, then washed the window. Once my window was clean and free of paint stains, I measured the window and cut the film (back side up) with an X-Acto knife. From then on I followed the instructions in the enclosed booklet. Easy to install. The written instructions are simple and a small scraper is included. You will need a utility knife or pocket knife to cut the film if your windows are not the exact size. I tested this roll to cover a very dated 80's giant mirror in my living room. It's really easy to install by yourself if you follow the installation instructions. The product bounces light off the mirror, but the mirror itself is completely blacked out (which is what we wanted). A few tips: 1) Use plenty of water/soap solution. This is the only way you can manipulate the product. 2) This product is made of plastic, so it didn't work as smoothly with my Exact-O knife as it would with wallpaper…
