Review on 🪟 ARTSCAPE Rice Paper 36x72 Window Film: Frosted Glass Effect - Aesthetic Privacy Solution by Carrie Green

[Updated Sep 2016] Last year I enjoyed the privacy on my windows in our garage, but recently the film on the top corner has separated and is starting to fall off. Needless to say I am very disappointed. I've had - flawless execution, virtually no issues and the end result is superb. My goal was to take down the 2 inch blinds in the garage and make a pure Artscape product. I'm fairly familiar with how window films work and knew I needed a really clean surface, so I started scraping paint stains off the glass and other surface "things" and then used an ammonia-free window cleaner to really clean the glass to clean . Once that was done, I measured the width and height of each wing to the nearest 1/16 inch and transferred the measurements to the back of the backing paper sheet. Using a razor blade and straight edge I trimmed the pieces, then using a spray bottle I added a few drops of dish soap to clean water and sprayed generously onto the glass and onto the slippery side of the foil and placed the foil. on glass. Once on the glass I sprayed the foil some more and using the squeegee I came with the foil (which is a great little tool btw) gently squeezed out the bubbles making sure the foil was in place and place was. a little extra finishing but for the most part immaculate. This is a work for two people, otherwise it would be very troublesome. My wife and I looked at it in the garage tonight with the lights on, nothing shows through the film - what a great product! In daylight it also seems to make the film brighter in the garage - a great side effect!
