Easy to install. The written instructions are simple and a small scraper is included. You will need a utility knife or pocket knife to cut the film if your windows are not the exact size. They sell them in different sizes so it's possible. You will also need a spray bottle to dampen the window. We have a large (21x64") front door window with 7" wide sidelights (shown). Because our home is on a corner lot, anyone passing or driving by can look right into our home! We went with the rice paper design and it looks amazing. It doesn't shine through but lets light through and you can't see into the house now, giving us very valuable privacy. We ordered an extra roll to cut for our downstairs bathrooms.
