I try to minimize the amount of disposable and commonly used items in my home, especially plastic. I also prefer to wash dishes in the dishwasher whenever possible. I've had a hard time finding a stainless steel agitator that: #1 is actually stainless steel - meaning WILL NOT rust in the dishwasher; #2 not long enough that I can't keep it in a cup while sipping coffee without risking putting my eye out or poking my face into it; or #3 is so short that it is almost completely submerged in the drink. These spoons are perfect in every way. Didn't notice any sharp edges but was cautious after cutting my tongue with a similar item from another seller. I've washed them in the dishwasher countless times with no problems - NO RUST :) Now I only use other stirrers when they're all dirty. If they have them I will use the same seller for longer spoons for large and travel mugs. Multipurpose: I also use these spoons occasionally for butter dishes and as a garnish for appetizers or salads (e.g. sunflower seeds in a small bowl to garnish salad with grated parmesan, red pepper flakes, etc.). Overall very happy with an inexpensive but very useful product! Thank you!
