First impressions are good. The device itself is quite heavy and feels very solid. I got this thing today and hooked it up an hour ago. Not sure where all the bad/less than stellar reviews are coming from, this thing works great and is exactly what I was looking for at a decent price. I don't have a very high resolution as you can see in the picture, but I'm running at 144Hz and I have FreeSync enabled on my monitor. I read the reviews. My work laptop pops up after a few seconds when I toggle, but I don't care, it's a work laptop and as long as it works I'm happy. Switching to my PC is pretty quick and haven't had any problems so far. Haven't played any games but will definitely update this review if games aren't showing properly. Actually I'll update anyway as soon as I have time to try it out, but so far so good. I definitely recommend it. After 24 hours of use, Steam games are working fine on normal settings. One minus so far - the screen sometimes goes black for about 2 seconds, not often, maybe twice in the last 24 hours. It doesn't bother me much, maybe others, but not bad enough to deduct a star. For the time being, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I'll update if anything else happens. Update December 24, 2020: I don't know why I didn't do this sooner.
