Review on πŸ§€ HIC Porcelain Thick and Thin Cheese Slicer, 1 EA, White by Melissa Marie

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Short lived as others have noted

Although it worked it worked well. Even if there seems to be a design flaw. There is a real weak point and the device is mostly made of plastic. It really was the perfect tool until it broke. We replaced it with a nice stainless steel one from a restaurant shop here in town. This place basically only sells one type of tool for each task in the restaurant so I bought what they were selling as a cheese cutter and I'm very happy with it. Looks like this: http://www.amazon.com/Norpro-330-Adjustable-Cheese-Slicer/dp/B000HMB0IM/ref=sr_1_1?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1426284685&sr=1-1&keywords=cheese +slicer though, like I said we didn't get ours on Revain. What I like about it is that it's very well built, strong stainless steel, and if the stainless steel wire breaks (we don't have it) it can easily be replaced with a new one for about a dollar.

Pros

Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
