Review on PanaVise 209 Vacuum Base Jr by Paul Bijeaux

Excellent quality, great value for money. The suction cup works really well on a really clean surface (also helps keep dirt off the suction cup, just common sense). Just a strong lightweight construction. Portable and can be adjusted to hold an object at almost any angle. I mainly use it to work with pocket knives. Rugged for those pesky free-spinning hinges that require you to use a driver on either side. Also used it to hold a pocket knife and apply heat to loosen stubborn screws. Just use your common sense and don't aim the heat directly at the vise. I hate to say this but after reading some of the negative comments a little common sense goes a long way. These vises are mostly made of plastic, treat them appropriately and you won't have any problems. A very useful additional handset when used as intended. I recommend two recommended accessories that are also available in Revain: 1) PanaVise 2042 neoprene pad) PanaVise 239 speed controller for the 201, 203, 207 and 209 models. I noticed some confusion in the Questions section of the listing. The packaging clearly says "Made in China". I usually prefer to buy American products when they are available, but I am completely satisfied with this product and would recommend it.
