Review on Sailun Ice Blazer WST3 255/55 R18 105T winter by Adam Wielgosz ᠌

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

After checking the rubber purchase date, I was inspired to put pen to paper. When I place an order, I always factor in the year that the rubber was purchased, which is why I do most of my shopping around the end of summer/beginning of fall. When I checked the tires (and other recent purchases) this year, I found a date of 2022. The front pieces are no longer spiked, and the sidewalls have become somewhat worn. That year I wrecked a wheel after getting a puncture, repairing it myself (poorly), and then letting it fall flat on the track (when it was in the lead!). I didn't detect any decline in handling while taxiing, albeit the track was wet and rutted. After coming to a halt, I noticed that one of my wheels had "chewed," forcing me to ride with my "banana" front. That's why I replaced the front wheels with brand new ones this year. Then I saw the date on the used rubber and made up my mind to review it.

Pros
  • Resistance to wear! There's enough rubber for two more seasons in 2022. Rates between 20,000 and 35,000 annually
Cons
  • It's strange hearing the thorns rustling after the summer, but you soon adjust. I've noticed that my car's handling changes slightly when it's raining or snowing outside (air temperature of 6-8 degrees Celsius, dry or wet asphalt, no snow).

Its pros: Excellent tires. Well behaves in any conditions. Its cons: Too soft sides. On a low profile, a huge chance to fill a bump.
