I really wish it would work, but it just doesn't. Before I bought it I called WD and spoke to a very friendly tech to make sure they could do what I was looking for which was remotely backing up my laptop when I was traveling when I was using the internet connect He assured me if I buy this model and use one of their programs (WD Sync) I will. When it arrived I had some issues so I replied to the technician's last email and he called me a few hours later. We spent over two hours on the phone setting it up, but their software is riddled with bugs. It crashes and won't open anymore, forcing me to uninstall and reinstall it four times. The technician was very helpful, gave me time but we never got it working. I have no idea how well the hardware works because we never set it up properly. He's coming back tomorrow.
