Review on Tamron 28-200 F/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD Lens for Sony Mirrorless - Model AFA071S700, Black - Full Frame/APS-C E-Mount by Chasmod Ray ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Definitely recommend as a first lens for beginners. Will replace 2-3 glasses. And over time, you will be able to understand and decide what you need to purchase additionally.

Pros
  • Great and versatile lens. Covers most focal lengths. Only 24 is missing, but these are already trifles. Quite sharp, fast aperture for its focal lengths. Light. There is a transport zoom lock slider, but even without it, the lens does not extend under its own weight. Thanks to the sealing ring, neither moisture nor dust will get into the bayonet. Universal, for the Tamron system thread for filters.
Cons
  • The lack of stabilization, at the long end, the Sony a7m2 does not cope well with the matrix stub. In short, everything is fine.

With its pros. Inexpensive lightweight, much sharper than 24-240mm Its cons: Luminosity is not enough.
