Buying two units allows you to compare their accuracy and your oven temperature settings. They seem accurate, but should be larger and easier to see since you're usually looking at them from a distance. I wouldn't buy it again unless you want something small. Another thing I realized late on was that you can't hang them on a pole and read directly on yourself because there isn't a notch on the hanger like most oven thermometers have. I downgraded it one star because it was a serious design flaw that would have required little to no change in production - just another small step to fix it.
