One would expect a garment ordered in size XL to fit a larger man of any size. That wasn't the case with these pajama bottoms. In this case, XL only means an extension. They are not wider at the waist and are too tight. For me the pant is 3-4 inches longer than 2-3 inches short at the waist. There wasn't enough elasticity in the waist so it was a waste of money.
