Review on πŸ”³ Noctua NA-HC4 chromax.White Heatsink Cover for NH-D15, NH-D15S, and NH-D15 SE-AM4 - White Edition by Seth Damain

Looks good but overpriced and requires additional options

I don't understand why they cost so much for the painted metal but they add style to a plain Noctua. And why don't whites have cutouts for inserts like black cases do? Originally bought to look like Stormtroopers along with Black Chromax fans. The problem is that the heatsinks on the NH-D15 stick are so white they won't let any light through unless you have an LED strip on top or on the sides. I haven't noticed any RGB reflection from them on my Coolermaster 140mm ARGB fan. As a result, an RGB strip was placed on top, which is now reflected throughout the body. The white that Noctua uses is more like a very light latex paint that can contrast with other whites on your case and components if that's a concern to you. However, if you want those towering whites to capture RGB strip lighting or a black and white theme for your NH-D15, this is pretty much a must-have. Other than that I wouldn't waste your money and if you want your Nh-D15 to look better just buy black fans.

Cons
