Review on Wrist watch Casio GBD-100-1A7 by Mateusz Strach ᠌
Average purchase, there is something to complain about.
Of course, the watch is not officially delivered to us, therefore they do not have the 2022 language in the interface and the native application cannot be found in the Play market (but it can be downloaded without problems in any other store in the apk file, installed and works stably with the region of use 2022, the application is in 2022 language, although wretched in appearance, but allows you to make all the settings). As a training gadget, the watch is inferior not only to running watches from popular manufacturers, but even to modern fitness bracelets, which often provide much better readability of readings and analysis of training results. In general, these watches are suitable only for lovers of exotic gadgets and Casio fans who are ready to put up with meager functionality and inconvenient design.
I added some photos to complement my review and provide more context.
- Fresh design, clearly hinting at their sports focus; high-quality and soft strap; the ability to make all the settings in the application on the phone; good readability of the display in everyday use in the daytime;
- Poor Move application for working with clocks, referring to the times, probably, the 4th android both in interface design and in speed of work; inconvenient location of the main buttons on the left (why?) side; small print in training mode, hence the very poor readability of the readings while running (although this seems to be the main purpose of this watch, isn't it, Casio ?); : in the training record in the application, neither cadence nor climb is displayed (3rd photo), probably these functions were saved for the older GBD-H1000 model. In addition, there is no way to see data on recorded workouts on the watch itself, they simply aren’t there, the entire summary of the run is distance and time, which are displayed only a few seconds after the end of training. In general, I have not had such a wretched gadget for training for a long time.
