Review on 🔧 IRWIN Tools Bi Metal Installation Kit 3111002 by Dontra Majmudar

Just gotta say it did its job, ART! I installed as directed, started drilling with a 2.5" hole saw, after about 20 seconds the edge of the hole saw somehow caught on the level, probably due to heat/expansion, and the level broke off immediately. The only saving grace was that it was bolted to the door so I could finish the side I started with and then finish the other side of the door. I also found that after drilling the 2.5" holes, it was extremely difficult to remove the pilot bit from the hole saw for installation. on a 1" hole saw. In addition, there is a double-sided threaded connection that allows the center drill to be fitted to both a 2.5" hole saw and a 1" hole saw, which was also extremely difficult to remove . Looking closely at this product, the 2.5" alignment clip is only held in place by two small pieces of plastic. Luckily I only had to install one latch, otherwise I'd have to buy another mount. On my next purchase if I can have to do in the future, I'll spend the extra $10 and buy a Dewalt instead.
