Fits 1950 8N in Alternators and Generators
Most importantly, this alternator comes with correct pulley for Ford 8N and other N series tractors. Many alternators say they are for N series, but are supplied with the wrong pulley. This is a big pain. Since I was remodeling the tractor, I made the brackets. If you can't, this company also offers a bracket kit. After installation, the generator produced 13.8 volts with only the battery cable (1) connected. It turns on at very low revs, which is a big plus. Make sure your mount is well grounded and no other wires are needed.
