All the black webbed trim keeps our busy 1-year-old puppy busy chewing for 10-minutes at a time (pretty good for him). When we first received, he carried around the crab wherever he went, and wouldn't even put it down to bark at the noises in the neighbor's yard. After a few weeks, the webbing is frayed on most of the edges, but he hasn't made his way inside. The size is a little big/heavy for a 20 pound dog, but it's manageable. Usually we have to hold one end so it stays on the couch while he's chewing. Of all the "tough" plush toys we've bought, this one has lasted the longest without losing all the interior pieces and fraying all over the house.
