I used this product to repair broken threads on my Stihl chainsaw. One of the chain bar mounting bolts has stripped the threads in the aluminum threaded hole. It was very easy to fix. I drilled a larger hole, recut the hole and re-threaded it after applying thread lock. Works fine, like new. If I ever need this for another job, all I have to do is buy the right thread inserts because I have a set of taps and dies and a drill.
