Works perfectly!

I recently installed this on my 06 charger and it works great. My car originally came with the 6-speaker Boston Acoustics package. After replacing all the speakers, it didn't work the way I wanted it to. The lower door speakers are tuned to the factory amp to output lower frequencies, while the front dash speakers are tuned for higher frequencies. To complicate the setup, I replaced the factory radio with a Pioneer AVH-2550NEX and plugged in. with Maestro RR and HRN-RR-CH2. I left it installed as usual, but simply pulled the speaker cables from the HRN-RR-CH2 wiring harness and plugged them directly into the Metra 70-6504 wiring harness. I have followed the wiring diagram that Crutchfield provides on their website for the Metra wiring harness and it says to connect the front speaker wires coming from the radio wiring harness to the front door and dash speakers. After setting everything up I factory reset my radio and set it to use the default instead of the network (I believe this tells the radio it has a factory amplifier) and it works great. The wiring harness is long. As this is a universal kit (some cars have the amp in the back) I cut a few meters off it before connecting and installing. The gray plug with black and yellow wires was unused, as was the red power wire.
