A good set of knives to begin with. Very good without compression brake housing, leaves little burr on standard screw winding. Cables are cut cleanly. After a year of non-professional use that saw probably a hundred cables and body parts severed, it's now struggling to cut through the Kevlar shell of Jagwire's own non-compression case. I have to cut off the frayed ends with scissors. There's also a usability nuisance: the flip-lock tends to get in the way of the opposite handle, preventing a full cut if you're not careful to get it out of the way. Message sent to Jagwire. Didn't hear an answer. Not impressed. If I were to do it again I would buy Pedro's, XLC or other teens instead of overpaying for this set.
