Review on 🐦 C&S High Energy Suet: Optimize Bird Feeding with This Power-Packed Treat by Amber Jackson

Affordable and good value for money

Birds peck at this fat in cold weather as it is needed to keep them warm. The lard is in a bowl and looks more like beef tallow than millet (birdseed). The cake will be soft and crumble when removed from the plastic tray and thrown into the cage (bird feeder). If you store this lard indoors, it's a soft, greasy cake that's difficult to use and will firm up when it's cold. I plan on ordering a few more to last until spring, I don't recommend this bird fat cake in warm weather. Overall it's a good value if you only need a few bird fat cakes as most others are sold in bulk. My favorite lard is Royal Wing, sold at a local farm, only better quality at a comparable price.
