Review on 🐠 Alkaline Drinking Monitor for Aquariums - Ensuring Accuracy by Jeff Dabney

These test strips do not provide an accurate difference between 0.5 intervals

I purchased these test strips for hydroponic use as a backup for my digital pH tester. I tend to distrust the digital edition and try to accompany it with something more specific. This product was not accurate as has been noted in many 1 star reviews - Water often collects on some or all of the 4 colors after dipping the strip in the provided test solution. - If you're lucky enough that the colors don't match, tap the strip on the color group that best matches the colors on your strip. Make sure you're doing this in bright light, then pull the guide out of the plastic case when comparing to reduce glare. (both for distinguishing color ranges in the guide) - I usually find bright areas in the house that are lit by the incoming daylight. I can see color differences very well on the color scale. I need 5.5-6.5 pH and 100% of the time I can't get the correct pH on a scale between this range as the top color is dark blue and dark blue on the test strip will NEVER compare to any of the highest shades of blue is the scale. I suspect that the fault lies with the color scale itself. created with an inaccurate color selection from the printing software or created from a copy of the printout, which can alter the saturation of the printed colors and result in inaccurate levels. Color variation, they just don't deliver it. If you can accept the pH being in the 1.5 range then these strips are for you. I welcome Esee Group's response and will update my review as soon as I receive new information.
