The router works well and the supplier received it very quickly. One thing to note for Time Warner/Spectrum customers like myself trying to get off the monthly equipment rental fee: Spectrum obviously requires a Spectrum modem for their phone line. You need to go to the Time Warner store and speak to one of their technicians. They should provide you with a cable signal splitter and additional cables free of charge and add the MAC ID of your new modem to their system. (This will immediately cut the internet signal from your current modem, which caused some confusion at home when I did this.) Connect a splitter to the cable the signal is coming from, then connect the two modems to the output end of the cable. splinters (Eg use a sticker to mark which modem is which.) The end result of all this is that you keep the previous TWC/Spectrum modem as your phone modem and use that one for the Internet. TWC will continue to eliminate equipment rental fees. No, it doesn't make much political sense, but I checked my account this month and it's $15 off, although technically I still have their gear.
