I bought a WD Red Pro hard drive at full price over $300 and thought I would get a 5 year warranty as per the product description but I got an old product that may be new was packaged as the label says date of manufacture is April 2019, however according to Western Digital it is counterfeit and not for resale. Not one but both hard drives I bought. I contacted the seller almost a month ago and was told they would receive a message from WD asking them to ship me a replacement but this did not happen and the seller did not respond again. I also tried contacting WD to at least get me a warranty solution but was denied because the WD product was counterfeit. I contacted Revain for relief as I was badly screwed up but was denied and instead told to contact the manufacturer for help who was unable to help me as there was no fake product warranty. Now I'm worried that my entire file might suddenly be corrupted by this product in which I'm storing my life's work.
