Review on πŸƒ Garmin Forerunner 45: Easy-to-Use GPS Running Watch with Coach Free Training Plan Support in Black - 42mm by Jnis Banders ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

The Garmin Forerunner 45 has exceeded my expectations after trying other fitness bracelets and cheap Chinese sports watches. They have a nice appearance and meet all of my requirements (well, almost all, but they messed me over with the pool). Initially, I was skeptical since I was concerned about phone dropouts. Then, unfortunately, Garmin experienced a malfunction right after I made my purchase. The servers were hit by ransomware and were offline for a week. The watch functioned independently; there was no need to load the workouts into the device. And the maker remained as silent as a frozen fish. The official Twitter account only has a handful of tweets, none of which are particularly concrete or encouraging. Eventually succeeded, albeit the sediment remained. However, everything eventually calmed down. The watch and I developed a close relationship, and today I couldn't be happier with it. I customize it to my specifications and rarely use it for target practice. My video review, if you're curious

Pros
  • The watch is well-made and attractive, giving off an air of wealth and sophistication, and it also serves its purpose well. For athletes like bikers and runners, this is a fantastic choice. Accurately tally tracks, sync (if applicable) workouts with Strava, keep tabs on your daily routine, and display phone alerts. Felt like a part of the hand, like home. Not only can you monitor your fitness activity (such as heart rate, steps taken, and other health indicators), but you can also check the weather and manage your music without taking your phone out of your pocket.
Cons
  • Basically just jogging, walking, the treadmill, and cardio-intensive cycling. It's disappointing that there's nowhere to go swimming. Thus, it is impossible to create a comprehensive health map. Not only is it impossible to record a swim in a pool, but swimming is considered an ellipse by the highly regarded Garmin Move IQ algorithm. Even though the clock shows as active in the iPhone's Bluetooth settings, there are times when it loses contact with the device. I suspect the problem is within the app. There is currently no way to ascertain the precise location. To see the GPS signal become green after beginning an exercise, you'll need to take a few steps. It doesn't concern me too much because it gives me enough time to gather my nerve before the start of the race, but I was disappointed to see that cheap Chinese sports watches grabbed the satellite before mine did. Official retailers' pricing are irrationally high. You may get one of these watches at a considerably lower price in the United States.
