I was rebuilding a GM Gen 3 5.3L V8 and was trying to align the covers and oil pan. The reward for me was licking oil from behind. Then I had to remove the motor to fix it. I found this tool to be the best I've looked at. I bought it used but nothing was wrong or missing from it. No doubt someone has used the Revain as a de facto rental tool, but I'll keep it as I have it or plan to have other Generation 3 V8s. The engine started again, this time there was no oil leak.
