Not Impressed - Power & Hand Tools

Advertised as adjustable to 55# torque. Mine was set to 25#. You will need another torque wrench to adjust, but the adjusting nut is difficult to get to. The 10mm nut used for adjustment has very little play to allow the bushing to fit over the nut. A normal head is 10mm too thick to fit in the recess where the nut sits. I had a long, thin-walled 10mm jack and it only fit by hammering it into a recess. After turning it clockwise I had to remove the bushing from the nut as checking the new torque range was only possible with the bushing removed as the bushing turned the nut when you turned the key. After several tries, I believe I chose it based on readings from my other torque wrench. I saw a YouTube video on how to adjust this particular 7467, but Wera redesigned the wrench, removed the settings printed on it and turned the large, easy-to-reach 17mm adjusting nut into a tiny 10mm nut that is inserted in a narrow recess in the flask. Why do manufacturers "improve" their tools by making them more complicated? Probably to save pennies on parts and increase profits. This only works if you keep or increase the margin dollars. Selling fewer items due to a design change works against you. Wera should have stated that this torque wrench is fixed at 25#.
