Proper chip size is essential for quality cutting, and this attachment is ideal for hard plastics like polycarbonate (a relatively 'soft' material). With a single cutting edge, this bit takes big bites to keep heat down, then effortlessly ejects those shavings for a quick but clean cut through polycarbonate and other hard plastics. Note that this attachment ejects the shavings up (ie (<1/4") to lift them while cutting.
