Review on CHAMPKEY Tri-Turf Golf Hitting Mat - Ultimate Indoor and Outdoor Training Tool for Golfers by Ray Richards

I bought this product last year and used it mainly in the basement for low impact half swings, shots and serves. It held up perfectly for that and was really great value for money. I mainly used fairway turf and sometimes more fluffy rough. There are no complaints. For the past few weeks I've set up a batting net in my garage where I could hit harder. That's when the problem started. Part of the fairway fell apart immediately. A crack has developed and the section is more or less unusable, which is a shame because I think that's where practice is most valuable. I tried using the rough section as a workaround and while it holds the small blades of grass slowly fall and pile up on the ground. To top it off, the ChampKey website offers customer support through Facebook Messenger and they have been completely indifferent along the way. To sum up, it's great for chipping, pitching and half swings, but it doesn't hold up to full swings at all. So it was good while it lasted and what I was using it for, but look elsewhere if you want to go full capacity.
