04/06/20 *Last Update*I have a new device. I didn't fiddle with the wiring, I just plugged it into my car and all the speakers worked! Now I could install the radio in my car. Installation was pretty easy, it takes a bit of patience as there are a lot of cables to hide and the GPS/wifi antenna cables need to be routed to the top of the dashboard. Overall, the installation isn't difficult, just takes a little time (if you want to do a good job). I assembled everything the way I wanted, fiddled with the unit for hours but was disappointed. First let me say that this device is SLOW. If you're comfortable with the Samsung Galaxy S3, then you won't mind this device. I figured since it's running Android 10 it would be much more responsive to touch. Every time you touch the screen, it takes 2-3 seconds to respond to your touch! As the fit and finish of this radio was very good and original with the car I wanted to ignore the latency. So I put the radio in for a week and only started the car twice in that time. Just using music is fine, but that's no reason to have a touchscreen in the car. I wanted navigation and music to work at the same time, which is what this device is designed to do. But guess what: my screen froze BOTH times I started the car! I played music and wanted to get to my destination. As soon as I tried to start Google Maps, the screen froze. I ended up hearing road noise and wind because I couldn't get the screen to defrost while driving and there was no music playing. Ridiculous. That's Chinese shit. I would 100% not recommend this machine. I don't understand why there are so many reviews other than other reviewers like to just look at the screen and not actually use it. I will be returning this unit for a full refund. 03/17/20 *Update* Revain is shipping a replacement unit. I sent back the first block. I should get a new device in a few days. There are two installation methods: Bose method and non-Bose method. I have a factory Bose system so I used this connection method. When I plug everything in, my front speakers work, but I can't hear any sound from my rear speakers. I know the rear speakers are good because they worked great with my factory head unit. I tried connecting it differently (without Bose), the result is the same: the front speakers worked, the rear ones didn't. I would call Eonon tech support but they are from Hong Kong and their hours are available when I need to be in bed! I contacted Revain tech support but it took them a long time to ask all the simple questions like "Are you sure all the connectors are seated correctly?". This device must be plug and play capable. I need to connect everything and it should work. Apparently I have a defective device. I hope Revane sends me a replacement.
