Review on 🧶 Bernat Yarn, Indigo Velvet, 10.5 oz by Kristen Reid

I don't know about others, but this yarn didn't fit me. It slipped and relaxed. I made a blanket and the more I worked with it the more loops were sticking out of the blanket. I'm not the only reviewer with this problem, and a few of you have posted photos here that are better than the ones I took (unfortunately, gray yarn didn't show these problems as well). I started, restarted, untied, and retied again three or more times until finally announcing my retirement. This yarn is so soft and so beautiful. That's exactly what was suggested - a velvety feel and look. The colors are very saturated. But I'll probably never work with that yarn again. I've been crocheting for over 30 years so I'm not a beginner and I was just having a terribly difficult time getting this yarn to not slip or unravel. The further I got with my blanket, the worse it got in the previous sections, so it's not entirely my fault. Maybe for small projects? or super tight seams don't you have this problem? Although I crochet pretty tight. Just a thought.
